so have ordered 32 of (942C20P1K-F). the data sheet (link below) says they are .1uF, 2000VDC and 500VAC rated. i initially did the math with the 2000v rating.
my first question is, which rating should i use ? the neon sign transformer is 12KVA and ive read that i should have a mmc bank with a rating of twice this.

my second question.. my math tells me i need a mmc bank of 6.2nF. is this a ballpark figure ? i will include the atributes of the parts i have so far. if there are any math wizards out there maybe see if im on the right track :)
many thanks!

Tesla coil stats:
top load toroid -17.674pF

2ndary coil – 1000 turns of awg 24
inductance 18.264mH
self capacitance 7.779pF

neon sign transformer
12KVA @ 30mA

if any more info is needed let me know
