These blanks are perfect for knife scales, or could be cut up into turning blanks, or any number of other small projects.

Each blank is at least 1.75″x.75″x5″ and may be a little bigger. They are left thicker so that you can turn it into a turning blank, or cut it on a bandsaw to have a book matched pair. Up to you!

The wood is AA Rock Maple that was once part of the gym floor at The Geek Group’s Leonard Street Labs. Each sale of the maple wood goes another step further to The Geek Group achieving our dreams!

These blanks are a little over-sized, which is just perfect for getting creative with your turning. They are all at least 3/4″ square and 5″ long.

These have been cut from the birdseye AA rock maple that was once the gym floor at The Geek Group’s Leonard Street Labs facility. They were kiln-dried back in the 1970s and have remained extremely dry since then. The blanks have beautiful grain and figure to them.
